Manager - Day Program

Responsible for day-to-day operations of the Community Day Services   and Employment Services programs assuring compliance with all applicable DHS, DRS, DPH, CARF, local rules and standards and agency policies and procedures. Supervise assigned staff, and provide clients and staff members with a team oriented, positive, professional and safe environment to learn and work.  Function as the QIDfor assigned caseload in the development and implementation of individual programs to maximize clients’ vocational and daily living skills, health promotion, and inclusion in the community.  Provide documentation on clients in accordance with all applicable state, local, and agency standards and procedures.  The Community Day Services program facilitates services for individuals from  diverse backgrounds, embraces differences in individuals and promotes a positive attitude with peers and community members. 

Education:  

  • Master’s Degree preferred; Bachelor’s degree in a human service field required  

License/certifications:  

  • Must meet qualifications as QIDP  

  • Attend and pass DHS mandated QIDP training within 6 months of hire 

  • Certified Employment Support Professional (CESP) certificate preferred. 

Experience: 

  • Minimum two years paid experience in the field of developmental disabilities 

  • Minimum of two years supervisory experience preferred 

  • Sales/Marketing background would be helpful
